Employees at Process Solutions in Stanwood together raised $7,875 through cash donations and fundraisers for the Stanwood Camano Island Food Bank. The company then matched the donations, for a total of $14,705 going to the food bank.
That’s more than double what the company donated in 2016.
They also held a toy drive and filled a 30-cubic-foot box to the brim to benefit The Caring Place in Stanwood.
In the new year, the company will provide each of its employees an additional paid day off if they spend at least four hours of it volunteering.
