A true leader would go away

I wish I could say thank you for the most recent two front page headlines reporting on our own little Blagojevich/Jackson Jr./Sanford saga of questionable political “leadership.” However, it is another reminder that we are still stuck for a couple more years with a high salaried county employee, who is untrustworthy to many of his constituents and indeed, it appears, some council members. He is a reminder of everything bad about politics; that is not healthy.

I did not support Reardon despite The Herald’s endorsement, because I got a better grade on doing my homework. I just wish he was man enough to just go away and disappear. But he does not represent what being a true man is to me, in addition to not being a true political leader. Please Herald, please refrain from posting his photo or mug shot for us to have to see (as you did throughout the Shawna Forde stories.) I think we know what this man, er person, really looks like.
