Regarding the Friday news story, “Three school districts put levies on ballot”: There is a very important fourth school district that has two levies on the ballot: Granite Falls.
Proposition No. 1 “Replacement of Expiring School Programs and Operation Levy” $4.45 million.
Proposition No. 2 “Replacement of Expiring Technology and School Improvements Levy” $642,000.
These are not new taxes. The levy amounts are the same amounts the tax payers are currently paying.
Remember to vote!
As an added observation: It seems to me that your reporters continually omit important news relating to Granite Falls. Remember that we are a part of Snohomish county.
