Bible conclusive on homosexuality

Regarding the Sept. 23 letter, “Support true religious freedom”: Does the writer, a church worker, his pastor, or his church, read, understand, or believe the Bible, God’s holy word, that their church was founded on?

He uses the words “religious freedom” often in the letter, but you won’t find that in your Bible.

You will find, in Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13, in the Old Testament, called “the law,” what God thinks of homosexuality. Then go to 1 Corinthians 6:9 in the New Testament of your Bible, where it very plainly says that homosexuals will never see heaven.

Read also, Romans 1:26-32 for more of God’s thoughts on the subject.

Trying to justify their religious freedom, some say that Jesus never said a single word against homosexuality. What Jesus did say is far more important than what he did not say. In Matthew 5:17-19, he says that he did not come to abolish “the law,” but to fulfill it.

So, read, study, understand and obey God’s word, if you want to be in his service, and get to know God’s heart.

Those who teach or preach otherwise will probably join those who will never see heaven.
