Chuck Norris in his own dark age

Regarding Chuck Norris’ tirade in which he warned “1,000 years of darkness” descending if Barack Obama is reelected:

Does he think Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Britain, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Japan (to name a few) are in the midst of a “dark age”?

They all have been more socially inclined than the USA for decades. They all have universal health care. They have better railways and roads than the U.S. They can now make better aircraft than the U.S. and their cars are better and more efficient than American ones. Their small towns and villages are more beautiful and better kept than those in the U.S. Their TV programs are superior to those in the U.S. and they have a faster Internet service. They have less a percentage of the population in prison than the U.S. and their rate of violent crime (murder, rape, etc.) is a fraction of that in the U.S. So Chuck, step out of that gated community you probably live in and go and visit the real world. Perhaps you’ll discover that the U.S. isn’t quite as God blessed as you imagine.
