Deal with Karzai intelligently

As a U.S. soldier’s mother, everything I love and live for can be forever gone if the United States does not respond intelligently and diplomatically to each and every comment by Afghan’s President Hamid Karzai.

Most recently, Karzai allegedly told a group of Afghan Parliamentarians: “If I come under foreign pressure, I might join the Taliban.”

U.S. representatives appear to view “tribal warfare” of the current century to be as unsophisticated as it was when Europeans seized the Americas from its tribal inhabitants.
