Follis’ experience makes him best choice

Snohomish County voters have the privilege and responsibility to select our new Superior Court judge in an election that will be decided on Aug. 7. Based upon my professional experience with Jack Follis as a lawyer in Snohomish County for more than two decades, I heartily support Jack for our next Superior Court judge.

Jack has an unparalleled breadth of experience. In his 26 years of practice, Jack has tried, arbitrated, and resolved hundreds of cases — including dozens of jury trials in Superior Court. He has been an arbitrator for 15 years. An arbitrator hears testimony and, like a judge, renders decisions on cases pending in Superior Court. Serving as an arbitrator is excellent training to be a judge.

Jack has the respect of his peers. He recently won the Judicial Bar Poll of Snohomish County judges and lawyers by better than a two to one margin over his opponent. Over 90 percent of those that knew Jack rated him as excellent or good. Not one Snohomish county judge or lawyer rated Jack unqualified. This speaks volumes to his reputation for fairness in the legal community.

Jack cares about his community. In addition to his stellar volunteer coaching career, he is a long-time volunteer with Snohomish County Legal Services, serving members our community who cannot afford to pay for a lawyer.

Jack will be an excellent Judge. I urge you to give him your vote in the upcoming election.
