If there ever was a couple that is more deserving of citizenship than the parents of Anastasia King, I would like to know. Jeanne Jacob’s Oct. 2 comments about them purchasing a burial plot maybe being more expensive than having Anastasia shipped back to their country strikes me as being especially mean spirited. (“Anastasia King: Story of her death has run its course”).
Anastasia’s parents, considering all their adversity and tragic circumstances, impress me as being extremely hard-working and wonderful people who would not manipulate their story as a ploy to remain in this country. For some unknown reason, I think Ms. Jacobs is jealous of Anastasia’s parents and their ability to overcome adversity.
