We read recently of the return of wolves and grizzly bears to our state. Those that would condemn the return of the wolves perhaps forget that the deer and elk were not put on this earth for them to kill and that we are by far the biggest predators on this planet.
I have hunted this state for many years and I celebrate the return of the wolves. Just the thought that I may hear or actually see wolves or grizzly bear in the wild makes my outdoor experience that much more rewarding.
While I see many livestock in the forests when hunting, and though I cannot blame the ranchers for being upset when they lose stock to predators, they are, after all, grazing their animals on public land. And one last thing, the animals are not encroaching on our land, we are moving in to their habitat.
