Kudos to organizers of first-class event

Congratulations to Tammy Dunn (Snohomish County Sports Tourism), Eric Studerus and the Everett Fire Department for putting on a first class event at the Port of Everett last weekend. The Fireman’s Combat Challenge was amazing and the children’s activities were outstanding. If only The Herald had printed a picture with its notice in the Community Calendar of Saturday paper to remind people of this free family friendly event. I feel sad for the kids/families that missed out on this wonderful, local entertainment. Hopefully, they will do it again next year!
