Letter: Move past political bile, support Clinton

OK. The primaries are over. We know which two people can get elected president. I think it’s high time we get past the partisan-motivated, always over-stated sniping about experience, political histories and various social values issues that are honestly not our gravest concerns. Neither of these folks is pictured in any stained glass windows. Done. We are in a time of dire need to focus on which candidate can and will do the best job of cooling the potentially catastrophic fires of international discord and curing our national epidemic of millions of hungry citizens in the richest country in the world.

While I would never have chosen either of these two candidates out of a list of my favorite possibles, they are what we got. To me, that makes the choice clear. Donald Trump is way too dangerous to put in the White House. He has told every possible lie under the pathetic flag of “I’ve heard some people say.” He has said that “he” will do an endless list of things he wouldn’t have the authority to do. He has made threats to every psychopathic maniac leader in the world with the growing nuclear capability to cause massive death and destruction with an obvious disregard to the volatility of these monsters. He has a lifetime record of being focused solely on doing whatever it takes to benefit and aggrandize Donald Trump. He has conquered every mountain except ruling the whole world and now he aims to fix that.
