Three cheers for the Sunday letter, “Dentists’ fees are the real problem“! The Washington State Dental Association is a joke! Every dentist I know works three or four days a week. Wonder why that is? They don’t have to work more, because the fees they charge are outrageous!
I know a few people who have missing teeth, but can only afford bridges, and they are expensive. These people work and make good money, but still find permanent bridges too expensive — and forget paying for implants in this country! Insurance doesn’t cover a lot of these issues. You have to take on a huge amount of debt or be wealthy to afford this type of dental care.
Everything the letter writer said was exactly right. Washington state residents are not stupid, or uneducated, but the cost of dental care is insane!
