What a breath of fresh air to read the remarks of the Mukilteo resident concerning the advancement of Paine Field for future commercial air travel (Monday letter “Commercial flights: Businesses there would also benefit”). I totally agree. The fact that certain Mukilteo officials are so against this inevitable future continues to confound me.
With that being said, as a former Snohomish County resident, and a Boeing retiree, I certainly hope the writer doesn’t incur the wrath of Mukilteo Mayor Joe Marine about his feelings, as I have.
