Sad that lawsuit has been filed

Regarding the Sunday article, “$100M school shooting claim about security”: I am never surprised at what people will do in the aftermath of a school shooting. All it takes is some lawyer or person to say “let’s sue.” Then the race is on. It is bad enough they lost 20 children and six adults. To hell with them, my kid is so upset and out of it because someone turned on the public address system to try and save others.

What about the Amish that lost their children in a shooting? I didn’t see any of them suing anyone. Does the parent who wants to sue really going to use any of the money for the betterment of his child? Like the people who won the lawsuit when the pipeline blew up. Yes they were going to do so much for the underprivileged and church Haven’t seen a dime of it. Let’s look at the possible reasons: 1. The family is low-income — living from pay check-to-pay-check. And this is a way for them to get some free money and headlines. In Texas they have a law I guess is still on the books that can send any lawyer to jail for six months if he tells someone to sue.

I am sorry for all the people who have lost children. But let’s go forward for them. Make it a better and safer place for our children to go to school and grow up in. Suing someone or thing will not do anything for you, it cannot buy you happiness-love. Just a better casket to be buried in. It can’t even buy a ticket to get into heaven.
