I’ve read a few of the letters this week about people complaining about roundabouts, aka traffic circles, and that drivers don’t know how to react to these devices.
I feel perhaps some continuing education is in order. The Washington State Department of Transportation has a great page on roundabouts, including a five-part YouTube series educating drivers on the traffic devices and how to drive through them. You can find the WADOT roundabout safety page here: http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/safety/roundabouts
