Baseball

n The Northwest Merchants 13U Select Baseball Club is looking for players to complete its roster for the 2013 Koufax season and tournament season. n The Seattle Titans are looking for players for their 16U, 17U and 18U teams for the 2013 season. Tryouts will be held August 23 at Edmonds-Woodway High School and August 27 and 30 at Meadowdale High School. Tryouts will be held from 5-8 p.m. each day. n Laces Baseball Academy is holding a final tryout for ages 14U and 15U from 6-8 p.m. on August 23 at Laces Baseball Academy indoor facility located at 2718 Broadway in Everett. For additional information contact Levi Lacey at 425-350-2232, or by email at lacesbaseball@hotmail.com.

n The Seattle Tides are holding tryouts for their 2013 16U and 18U teams from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on August 25 at Kamiak High School. Winter workouts will start in November. Tryouts for the 10U Tournament team will be held at 9 a.m. on August 26th at Everett Boys and Girls Club. The 10U team will run in conjunction with Little League/Pony and will play 5-10 tournaments in 2013. For more information visit www.seattletides.org.

Lacrosse

n The Edmonds Lacrosse Club is hosting its first annual Pacific Northwest Lacrosse Camp August 28-30. The camp runs 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day and costs $75, with a final celebration held at the Beach Camp at Sunset Bay on the last day of camp. Former O’Dea High School standout and current Denver Outlaws player Drew Stanton will be one of the featured coaches, along with players from the Washington Stealth, including Lewis Ratcliff. Volleyball

n The Northwest Juniors Fall Volleyball League is currently taking registrations for grades 5-8. The entry deadline is September 1st, or when spots are full, whichever comes first. Evaluations will take place the first week of September with practice sites located in Lynnwood and Edmonds.
