The WHL announced today that Tips defenseman Matt Pufahl was named the WHL Player of the week. Pufahl had four goals and two assists last week as the Tips went 3-0-1-0 on their road trip.
So congrats to Mr. Pufahl. I can’t remember the last time an Everett player was named the Player of the Week, so he ended a lengthy drought for the Tips.

Shout out to @thenwchica on Twitter for the assist on this.
The last Everett player to earn Player of the Week honors before Pufahl was Kellan Tochkin for November 15-21, 2010. So it’s been a while.
