ARLINGTON — Snohomish swept a doubleheader against Wesco North foe Arlington, winning game one 12-0 and game two 8-0.
In the first game, Snohomish pitcher Douglas Gove limited the Eagles to one hit and struck out seven over six innings. Andrew Ivelia led the Panthers’ offense with three hits and three runs scored.
Arlington kept the game close in the second contest but could not solve Snohomish starter Joshua Baird and the Panthers scored four times in the seventh to win comfortably. Haakon Lande hit two doubles and drove in four and Mitchell McCulley added three hits for Snohomish.
