Prep football: Shorecrest 23, Shorewood 17

SHORELINE — Keegan Small rushed for 86 yards and two touchdowns, including the go-ahead score with 2:30 left in the fourth quarter, as the Scots knocked off crosstown rival Shorewood for their first Wesco 3A league win of the season. Nik Hendricks made a game-sealing interception at midfield to stop the Thunderbirds’ last drive. Levi Diaz had 101 yards on the ground and one score for Shorewood.
