LYNNWOOD — Jackson’s Sophia Frost broke up a scoreless tie with a leadoff home run in the top of the ninth and the Timberwolves went on to win the extra-inning game over Lynnwood. Frost also earned the victory, striking out 13 batters in a complete game effort. Royals starting pitcher Jessica Gott also went the distance and struck out 12.
