LANGLEY — Shelby Jeffries pitched a complete-game shutout and struck out 17 for Sultan in a Cascade Conference victory. Mackenzie Hezel gave up some runs early, but settled down and pitched four scoreless innings to finish the game for South Whidbey. She struck out five and walked just one. Courtney Morris paced the Turks, finishing 3-for-4 with a double.
