Former Edmonds mayor, former councilman win PCO elections

Former Edmonds Mayor Mike Cooper and former City Councilman Steve Bernheim have won elections as Democratic precinct committee officers, while former Councilman DJ Wilson lost a similar contest.

The PCO elections were decided in the Aug. 7 primary election.

Election returns posted through Friday showed Cooper leading an opponent in his precinct by a 54 percent to 46 percent margin, Bernheim leading his opponent by a 66-33 percent margin and Wilson trailing his opponent, 55 percent to 45 percent.
