Hillary is The Bomb (scare)

Posted at 5:30 pm by Jerry Cornfield

A suspicious package triggered a brief and quiet evacuation Wednesday afternoon of parts of the state Capitol including the lieutenant governor’s office.

The whole story can be seen in this video on YouTube. It’s legit, it is the same story I got from Washington State Patrol Sgt. Ted DeHart

A box arrived in the early afternoon addressed to the Senate’s sergeant-at-arms. It had the gentleman’s return address on it too – but he didn’t send it to himself. That raised eyebrows, brought state troopers to the building followed by members of the bomb squad.

Those dressed up folks took the box downstairs, put in an x-ray machine and determined it to be harmless – except to walnuts.

It was a nutcracker in the likeness of Hillary Clinton.

Not all’s well that ends well.

House and Senate members and their staffs kept working. This morning some workers expressed their displeasure at not being told of a potential bomb in the building. They've since been assured there will be a review of the chambers' reportedly non-existent notification policy.
