LAKE STEVENS — Five teenagers ended up in the water on Saturday morning after their rowing boat capsized.
The teens were racing in a rowing event when their boat flipped about 11 a.m., Lake Stevens Fire battalion Chief Travis Hots said. Medics drove one teen to an Everett hospital with an injured ankle.
The rest of the rowers were taken safely to a nearby dock.
