PREP ROUNDUP: Stanwood girls wrestler Casey Mather wins award at Lady Wolfpack Invitational

MILL CREEK — Stanwood girls wrestler Casey Mather won by decision over Federal Way’s Bianca Arizpe Saturday at the Lady Wolfpack Invitational and earned Outstanding Wrestler of the Match for the lower weight classes (103-135 pounds). Jamila Calcleasure of Highline (Burien) won for the heavier weight classes.

Jackson coach Gustavo Anaya highlighted the 103-pound match between Lake Steven’s JoMae Alewine and Justine Palabrica of Everett as one of the marquee matches during the day. Alewine took the win with a pin in 4 minutes, 33 seconds.
