GRANITE FALLS — There was no sign Thursday of a Granite Falls woman who has been missing since June 2.
Angela Marie Gilbert, 41, was last seen walking with a friend on private timber land near the 21400 block of 119th Street NE., just outside city limits.
Snohomish County sheriff’s d
etectives were told that Gilbert and her friend had gone for a walk along a trail, sheriff’s spokeswoman Rebecca Hover said. The friend returned alone and told others that Gilbert had decided to continue walking on her own. Search-and-rescue volunteers and detectives spent much of Wednesday searching for Gilbert.
The search didn’t turn up “anything to help with the investigation into her disappearance,” Hover said Thursday.
Gilbert is white, 5 feet, 2 inches tall and 120 pounds. She has blond hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white down coat, blue jeans and black tennis shoes with pink laces.
Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s tip line at 425-388-3845.
