Spring is coming, but there are still cold days ahead of us.
That’s what the bullfrog Snohomish Slew predicted at the annual GroundFrog Day in downtown Snohomish on Saturday.
Hundreds of people attended the event, the same number than last year’s, Snohomish Chamber of Commerce manager Pam Osborne said.

Join the conversation today: Residents of Everett, Tulalip and Marysville will get a chance Tuesday to quiz their state representatives on proposals for budget cuts, new taxes, gay marriage and other issues before the Legislature.
State Reps. John McCoy and Mike Sells, and state Sen. Nick Harper will host a town hall by telephone from 6 to 7 p.m.
The way it will work is shortly before 6 p.m., thousands of 38th Legislative District residents will receive telephone calls inviting them to stay on the line to participate. Those who listen in will get a chance to ask a question.
Those who do not receive a call can also listen in by calling toll-free at 877-229-8493. When prompted, punch in the PIN number of 18646 to join the call.
