Marysville: Another community art project
The Marysville Arts Coalition is hosting another community-wide art project.
Businesses, service clubs, and families can buy a plywood cutout umbrella, decorate and paint it, or have it completed by a local artist.
The umbrellas will be installed along State Avenue by city crews, and reused for three years. Cost for a blank cutout is $30, or $60 to have an artist decorate it.
Umbrella cutouts are available for pickup at E&E Lumber, Carr’s Hardware and the North County Outlook. Proceeds will help fund future opportunities to promote the arts.
Finished umbrellas must be returned by April 5 to the Marysville Parks and Recreation Office in Jennings Memorial Park, 6915 Armar Road.
