Bottomfish checks

State personnel checked 55 fishermen in 24 boats Saturday at the Washington Park ramp west of Anacortes with two halibut, 13 lings and eight greenling. At the Port of Everett ramp on Saturday it was 74 anglers in 31 boats with two halibut and eight lings, and on Sunday, 79 anglers with 24 lings.

Farther west, it was 227 anglers Saturday at the Ediz Hook ramp in Port Angeles with 26 halibut, and 12 anglers on Sunday at Olson’s Resort in Sekiu with 15 lings.
