EVERETT — Fire caused extensive damage to an empty house in the 2800 block of Cedar Street in Everett on Sunday night.
Firefighters found flames and smoke coming from the home when they arrived shortly before 11 p.m., Everett Fire Marshal Rick Robinson said.
Crews had most of the fire out within a few minutes and remained on scene to extinguish hot spots, Robinson said.
Firefighters were investigating the cause of the blaze on Monday.
No firefighters were injured.
Damage is estimated at $65,000.
