MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — A former student at Mountlake Terrace High School is facing a felony voyeurism charge for allegedly filming “up-skirt” videos of a classmate without her knowledge more than a year ago.
Logen Warren Green, 19, is a convicted child molester who now is in the custody of the state’s Juvenile Rehabilitation Administration. Last winter, he was living in Lynnwood at a group home that specializes in providing care for high-risk, sexually aggressive youth, according to documents filed Friday in Snohomish County Superior Court.
Although then 18, Green was a ward of the state and enrolled in classes at Mountlake Terrace High School, Snohomish County deputy prosecutor Matt Hunter wrote.
In early January 2012, staff at the group home inspected Green’s laptop computer and found sexual images and videos, including some that appeared have been filmed under the clothing of unsuspecting girls. The sheriff’s office was called.
Green acknowledged there was pornography on his computer and admitted filming “up skirt” videos using his cellphone, Hunter wrote. Green reportedly told a detective that the girl he’d filmed in fall 2011 was an unsuspecting high school classmate.
A forensic search of Green’s computer turned up thousands of pornographic images and videos, which were examined to rule out potential child pornography. The computer also contained three videos from Green’s cellphone, filmed under a girl’s skirt, Hunter wrote.
The detective worked with school officials and identified the girl. She was 16 at the time the video was shot.
“She considered the recordings ‘really creepy’ and confirmed they were recorded without her knowledge or consent,” the prosecutor wrote.
Green is scheduled to be released soon from state custody. Prosecutors are asking that he be ordered to have no contact with the victim or any unsupervised contact with minors, and that he be banned from possessing computers or video equipment.
