VANCOUVER, Wash. — A Brush Prairie man was convicted Tuesday of murder in the death of his father.
Troy Fisher represented himself and chose to have the verdict decided by a Clark County Superior Court judge, instead of a jury.
The Columbian reported the 43-year-old faces a sentence of more than 20 years in prison plus five years for a firearms enhancement when he is sentenced in Vancouver.
Prosecutors say Fisher shot Edward “Bud” Fisher in August 2011 during an argument over a siding project at their home. Blood but no body was found.
