Joyner rushed for 181 yards on 11 carries and three touchdowns, all of which came in the game's first half. The total raised his total to six trips to the end zone in three games and gave him a total of 582 on the season.
"Austin is doing what Austin usually does," said Marysville Pilchuck head coach Brandon Carson on Joyner's his impressive start to the season.
MP wide receiver Dante Fields caught a pair of touchdown passes from quarterback Jake Luton, the first score on a 24-yard pass. The second coming from 18 yards out that gave Pilchuck a comfortable 35-3 lead at halftime.
With Joyner's performance Carson was sure to compliment his team's passing game as well. "Our passing game has really improved over the past few weeks," Carson said. "Dante definitely made a couple nice catches in the end zone for us tonight."
On the first play of the fourth quarter senior running back Deion Stell ran for his second 50-yard touchdown of the game to knock the Panthers out of contention.
Stell finished with 102 yards on four carries.
