Prep volleyball: South Whidbey Invite

LANGLEY -- The South Whidbey volleyball team finished third in its South Whidbey Invite on Saturday. The hosts won five of six sets to win their pool, but lost to eventual champion Chelan in the semifinals. The Falcons came back to beat Hoquiam to secure third place. Lynnwood defeated Cascade in the fifth-sixth place match while Marysville Pilchuck downed Coupeville in the seventh-eighth contest of the 15-team tournament.
