Prep football: Oak Harbor 35, Mount Vernon 14

OAK HARBOR — Sheyenne Sams rushed for 166 yards and two touchdowns to propel Oak Harbor to the non-league win. Dyllan Harris added two scores, one rushing and one receiving, and 99 yards from scrimmage for the Wildcats. Mount Vernon’s Brandon Hayman scored on a 12-yard run, but Oak Harbor’s defense held the Wesco 4A North’s second-leading rusher to just 49 yards on 16 carries.
