LoanStar in Everett adds branch support manager
Erik Noet recently joined LoanStar as a branch support manager at the Everett branch. Noet attended Kamiak High School in Mukilteo and studied forestry at the University of Washington. Prior to coming to LoanStar, he worked as a branch support manager at Mortgage Advisory Group, and was a director of operations at Metropolitan Mortgage Group.
New director of quality at Diamond Knot
Diamond Knot Craft Brewing has announced the addition of a director of quality to its operations. Aaron Brodniak is a U.S. Coast Guard veteran with more than 18 years of craft brewing experience who has transitioned to the brewing industry. Brodniak has also held the title of head brewer for a microbrewery and regional brewer for a chain of brewpubs.
State revenue department wins honor
A creative use of geographic information systems to assess property earned the Washington State Department of Revenue top honors from the International Association of Assessing Officers. Revenue received the 2014 Distinguished Assessment Jurisdiction Award for its property tax GIS application. The association gives the award to an agency that has implemented a new approach to assessment that increases fairness.
