Monroe: Public hearing set
The city of Monroe has scheduled a public hearing at 7 p.m. Monday for a proposed rezoning of four parcels just north of U.S. 2 near the Roosevelt Road intersection. If approved, the change would designate the Holzerland properties different urban residential categories. The land would still be designated single-family residential, but the new zoning would allow for more density.
People may review documents and submit written comments at City Hall, 806 W. Main St., before the hearing.
