MONROE — A man on a bicycle was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after being hit by a pickup truck on U.S. 2 in Monroe Wednesday morning.
The accident was reported a few minutes before 7 a.m., Monroe police spokeswoman Debbie Willis said.
The injured man’s age and hometown were not immediately available.
The collision occurred westbound on U.S. 2 near the Highway 522 overpass.
Collision investigators remained on the scene for several hours.
