Glacier Peak junior Zach Argue, who was ambulanced from Tuesday night’s game against Shorecrest after landing awkwardly on his head, tweeted out early Wednesday morning that he is OK.
“Thanks so much to everyone for all the love and support!” Argue tweeted. “I’m sure you’ll all be glad to know its not serious and I’m going to be just fine!”

Argue had a shot blocked with 7:26 to play in the game and fell to the floor, hitting his head in the process. Coaches and trainers immediately ran out to the 6-foot-3 post and he was immobilized and taken to a local hospital.
After the game, which the Grizzlies won 50-43, Glacier Peak head coach Brian Hunter was focused on Argue.
“It’s a big deal,” Hunter said. “It’s one of your guys. I told my players that it’s like my son out there. It scares me to death to see him like that. I think the kids love him too. It’s definitely not what you want to have happen at a high-school basketball game.”
