Tourism bureau adds group sales, events coordinator
Karolyn Jensen has joined the Snohomish County Tourism Bureau in the newly created position of group sales and events coordinator. She will be responsible for promoting the county as an event, meeting and convention destination. She will also assist with the planning and execution of the sales missions and trade shows. Jensen has more than 10 years of experience in hospitality sales and client relations.
Everett mortgage officer recognized
Jason Gosser, branch manager at Guild Mortgage Co. and an Everett resident, has been ranked as a top-producing loan officer in the U.S. by Mortgage Executive magazine. Gosser, with 23 years of experience in the mortgage industry, was listed at 49 out of America’s top 200 loan originators for 2014. He closed 380 loans and accrued more than $98 million in volume last year.
Two Lynnwood insurance agents fined by state
Insurance Commissioner Mike Kreidler issued sanctions and fines in March against insurance companies, agents and brokers who violated state insurance regulations. Locally, Andre Davis of Lynnwood was fined $500 for failing to reveal a felony conviction in 2004 and a gross misdemeanor conviction in 2005. Paul Pukis of Lynnwood was fined $250 for misleading claims on the Washington Marijuana Business Association website.
Video aims to help Hispanic homebuyers
The American Bar Association Section on Real Estate, Trust and Estate Law and the ABA Commission on Hispanic Legal Rights &Responsibilities has launched a 20-minute video, in English and in Spanish, to help Hispanic homebuyers better understand the home-buying process.
