Summer Meltdown Fest starts today

If you are looking for something to do this weekend it’s not too late to pack up the car and head out to the Whitehorse Mtn Amphitheater in Bellingham for Summer Meltdown Fest. The lineup the Meltdown folks put together this year is pretty great. It is loaded with local bands like Pickwick, Hot Bodies in Motion and The Moondoggies.

Music isn’t the only thing on the menu at Meltdown this year. At midnight on Sunday actor turned director Matthew Lillard’s new film Fat Kid Rules The World will be shown for festival goers to enjoy. Rumor has it (from a very reliable source) that a few actors from the film will be there to introduce the film and possibly answer some questions.

The festival opens tonight. Single day tickets including camping for one night are available for only $50-65. Weekend passes are $160 at the gate. Tickets are available at summermeltdown.com.
