“America’s Secret Swimming Holes”: 7 p.m. Aug. 2, Travel Channel, America’s most secluded, off-the-beaten path places to cool off.

“Job or No Job”: 9 p.m. Aug. 5, ABC Family, each episode will follow one young person trying to land his or her first job.

“The Comment Section”: 10:30 p.m. Aug. 7, E!, comedian Michael Kosta breaks down the week’s big stories based on comments about them on social media sites.

“America. The Beautiful”: 7 and 7:30 p.m. Aug. 9, Travel Channel, visits to the country’s most awe-inspiring natural wonders.

“She’s Got Game”: 9 p.m. Aug. 10, VH1, Jayceon Taylor (aka “The Game”) tries to find love.

“Next Step Realty: NYC”: 9 p.m. Aug. 11, ABC Family, reality series about a New York firm that helps recent college grads find apartments.

“Kevin From Work”: 8:30 p.m. Aug. 12, ABC Family, this comedy follows a guy who declares his love for a co-worker as he’s about to leave for a new job — then the new job falls through and he’s stuck working alongside her.

“Show Me a Hero”: 9 p.m. Aug. 16, HBO, creator David Simon (“The Wire”) adapts a nonfiction book of the same name about race and community in Yonkers, N.Y.

“Startup U”: 8 p.m. Aug. 18, ABC Family, reality series about young entrepreneurs at a California college that teaches about starting companies.

“WAGS”: 10 p.m. Aug. 18, E!, reality docuseries that follows the Women and Girlfriends of sports professionals.

“Documentary Now!”: 10 p.m. Aug. 20, IFC, Fred Armisen (“Portlandia”) and Bill Hader (“Saturday Night Live”) star in a weekly spoof of documentaries.

“Blunt Talk”: 9 p.m. Aug. 22, Showtime, executive producer Seth MacFarlane (“Family Guy”) is behind this live-action comedy starring Patrick Stewart as a Brit who hosts an American cable news show. So, basically, it’s the unofficial “Piers Morgan Story.”

“Public Morals”: 10 p.m. Aug. 25, TNT, a police drama set in 1960s New York.

“Todrick”: 10 p.m. Aug. 31, MTV, docuseries about viral video creator Todrick Hall.

“Girl Code Live”: 10:30 p.m. Aug. 31, MTV, “Girl Code” stars host a weekly late-night talk show.
