On the afternoon of Tuesday, Sept. 8, approximately between 3 and 4 p.m., an extraordinary human being touched my life with such kindness, I really haven’t the words to describe both its practical and emotional effects.
I left my purse, wide open, not even closed, in a cart in the parking lot of the Target store in Lake Stevens.
I drove away, completely unaware, until 20 minutes or so later when I went to retrieve something from it; it wasn’t there.
I raced back and found that, indeed, someone, an “older man,” they said, had brought it in.
I cannot begin to detail what the ramifications would have been had he not brought it in — or the joy and relief and rescue from those ramifications because he did bring it in.
I thank you beyond thanks — for who you are.
