Enjoy an afternoon of music, food and flowers

Pack up the Tin Lizzie, or even the Prius, and trundle over to Meerkerk Rhododendron Gardens from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday for an afternoon of music, food and flowers with the Whidbey Island Model A Club.

Grill something on the open barbecue and bring a side dish to share as you kick back and listen to the music of Kathy and Barry Rix.

Admission to the gardens is $5 per person, but arrive in a classic cars, 30 years and older, and the driver gets in free.
