190 Sunset: The restaurant, which is in the same building as Cascadia Art Museum at 190 Sunset Ave., Edmonds, is now open for lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Weekday Happy Hour starts at 3 p.m., so people can sit on the deck at 190 virtually all day, said owner Tom Budinick.
Core Hero Hard Cider: The company’s booth at the Edmonds Farmers Market has fresh, local sea asparagus for sale. Steve Kaiser, owner of Core Hero, harvests the unusual local plant, sometimes called sea beans or pickleweed, from a location on Lopez Island.
