If you are still contemplating a summer camp for your children, it’s not too late to register for the Summer Kids Klub in Lynnwood.
And you don’t have to be a Lynnwood resident.
The focus of the Summer Kids Klub is to provide children with a safe place where they can build physical and social skills.
The Kids Klub is a mini camp — it runs half the day — designed for preschoolers and those about to enter kindergarten or kids between the ages of 4 and 6.
Each week is planned out according to themes and daily activities are based on those themes. For instance, kids can do arts and crafts projects such as making trains, or do pingpong ball relays or turn into tiny thespians by acting out short stories.
The fun continues outside with parachute play, and tricycle and scooter riding.
The Summer Kids Klub goes from 9 a.m. to noon in the North Administration Building, 19000 44th Ave. W., Lynnwood. Weekly rates are $60, or $55 for Lynnwood residents. For more information, call Lynnwood Parks and Recreation at 425-670-5732 or go to www.ci.lynnwood.wa.us/Preschool.
