You don’t have to travel to the Napa Valley or Eastern Washington to go on a wine-tasting tour.
Bothell’s Country Village will host its annual “Summer Stroll” wine walk Aug. 24.
This is a casual event so summer garb and flip flops are fine. Each of the 20 Washington wineries is in a different shop throughout Country Village, according to press material.
The sponsor for this event is Foundation House in Bothell, which will provide wine pairings and small snacks. Proceeds from this event benefit the Northshore Performing Arts Center Foundation. Strollers must be 21 years old and photo indentification and tickets are required.
This is a BYOG or Bring Your Own Glass event.
“Summer Stroll” runs from 6 to 9 p.m. Aug. 24 at Country Village, 23718 Bothell-Everett Highway, Bothell.
Tickets can be purchased online before the event for $20 at the NPACF website at www.npacf.org or call 425-483-2250. Tickets also are available for $25 while supplies last at the check-in booth the day of the event.
