EVERETT — For the first time in eight years, World Wrestling Entertainment is bringing its high-flying, pile-driving, drop-kicking action back to Everett.
The WWE plans to host the Raw World Tour at Comcast Arena for a one-night show Oct. 5, the arena announced Wednesday.
Professional wrestling superstars the Big Show and John Cena headline the event in what is planned as a steel caged match. The second portion of the main event features wrestlers “The Straight Edge Savior” CM Punk and Daniel Bryan.
Also scheduled to appear: The Miz, Santino Marella, Dolph Ziggler, Kofi Kingston, R-Truth, Zack Ryder and the WWE Divas. The lineup is subject to change.
