EVERETT — An Everett man was among a dozen people arrested Wednesday in connection with a drug trafficking ring operating out of four counties.
The arrests came as multiple locations were raided, including an Everett restaurant, according to federal prosecutors. Ten men have been indicted on a federal drug charges. Along with the defendant from Everett, a Camano Island man also was among the indicted.
The drug operation was investigated for about six months. During that time police seized eight kilograms of methamphetamine, two kilograms of cocaine and nearly a kilogram of heroin. They also seized more than $117,000.
Law enforcement on Wednesday seized an additional two kilograms of cocaine, more than $180,000 in cash and more than 20 guns, including a military-style rifle.
