EVERETT — A south Everett mobile home fire sent a man to the hospital Thursday afternoon, fire officials said.
Just after 1:30 p.m., firefighters arrived in the 2000 block of Center Road to find the mobile home on fire, according to South County Fire. Crews stopped the flames from spreading to other mobile homes, power lines and trees.
A man in his 60s who lived in the home suffered minor burns and smoke inhalation, so he was taken to the hospital. Firefighters evaluated another person for smoke inhalation at the scene officials said.
The home was destroyed. The Snohomish County Fire Marshal’s Office was investigating the cause Thursday.
South County Fire reminded residents to make sure they have working smoke alarms, test them each month and replace them every 10 years. Alarms should be in every bedroom and on every level of the home.
